IS THIS EVENT A FUNDRAISER?

Yes. Proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to the event beneficiary, the  "Are You Ready To Learn with Andre Thierry," a music program for children.

 

HOW DO I PURCHASE TICKETS?

Tickets for our event are available online at Eventbrite.com and in person on the day of the event.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE EVENT? 

Yes, there is plenty of free parking available, including ADA parking.

DO YOU HAVE AN ADA SECTION?

Yes, we do! At SOMO Village, the ADA section has dedicated seating with a sight line to the stage. Signage designates this section and is available to anyone with a need.

​

ARE YOUR SHOWS FOR ALL AGES?

Yes. Our shows are suitable for all ages. Children under 12 enter for free.

​

CAN I BRING MY PET?

No pets are allowed in the venue except for certified service dogs. Comfort animals are not considered trained, certified service dogs.

CAN I BRING FOOD OR DRINKS TO THE VENUE?

Outside food and beverages are NOT PERMITTED at the venue. Plenty of great food and drinks are available inside, so come hungry!

DO YOU KNOW WHAT FOODS AND DRINKS ARE AVAILABLE?

We have a full-service bar with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drink options. Our event will have local food purveyors selling a variety of French Kreole Louisiana, and California sweet and savory cuisines! Vegetarian options are also available.

DO YOU ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS FOR FOOD AND DRINK PURCHASES?

Our ability to accept credit cards is limited, as are ATMs. We recommend that you bring cash to help keep the lines moving.

COMPOSTABLES + RECYCLING

At the Kreole & Krawish CommUNITY Gathering, all food and drink purveyors must use BPI-certified compostable or plant-fiber service ware. We recycle materials such as cardboard, pallets, plastic wrap, and more to reduce waste and promote sustainability. The event organizers aim to increase composting, decrease landfill waste, and eliminate single-use plastic to become one of the most sustainable events.

DO GENERAL ADMISSION TICKETS GET YOU A SEAT, OR IS GENERAL ADMISSION LAWN SEATING?

The General Admission area is an open, laid-back space with a lawn, asphalt, and walkways on the side. Feel free to bring a picnic blanket.

CAN I BRING A CHAIR? 

Yes, you can bring folding chairs, but they must be low-to-the-ground (seat 8″ or lower from the ground and height 28″ or lower).

DO YOU HAVE RESERVED SEATING?

Yes, we have exclusive Reserved Table Seating available for purchase. 

​

IS THIS EVENT OUTDOORS? 

Yes, the event is held outdoors. Be prepared with sunscreen, hats, and comfortable shoes.

​

ARE THERE IN AN OUTS AT THE VENUE?

There are NO ins and outs at our venue. Please bring everything you will need for the duration of your stay into the venue. This includes medications, warm clothing for the cool evening hours, blankets, chairs, and *empty* refillable water bottles.
